Abstract

The Teridian 73M2901CE single-chip V.22bis modem has several features that make it the right choice for many designs. These features include short messaging services (SMS) mode and V.23 half duplex (HDX) support, energy incoming ring detection, improved caller ID performance (and compliance with EIA-777A), leased line support, caller ID Type II mode, selectable answer tone detection, and various S register features.
