The AD9841A is a complete Analog Front-End (AFE) product for CCD camera applications. It features the circuitry necessary to sample, condition, and digitize the analog output of interlaced and progressive scan area CCDs. The AD9841A performs correlated double sampling (CDS), color pixel gain amplification (using PxGA), overall gain adjustment, black level correction, and analog-to-digital conversion. Additional input modes are provided for processing analog video signals. The internal registers of the AD9841A - used to control gain, offset level, and other functions - are programmed through a 3-Wire serial digital interface.

PxGA is a trademark of Analog Devices, Inc.
