Vision to Action: Centralized Lighting Control for SDVs

Streamlining ADAS & IVI Development with Advanced GMSL Diagnostics
Contemporary automotive ADAS and IVI systems are based on elaborate architectures constructed from complex communication devices. This solution highlights ADI's enablement of powerful real-time tools, designed to streamline development and enhance debug and diagnostic capabilities at all stages of a system’s lifecycle. The advanced diagnostic capabilities are presented in the context of a combined GMSL ADAS and IVI system, featuring a high-resolution 12MP quad-camera surround view system and a 4k display.
A²B 2.0: The Future of Infotainment Connectivity
Building on the proven legacy of A²B 1.0, the recently announced A²B 2.0 transforms in-vehicle audio networks into “internet-connected infotainment superhighways,” delivering 4 times the bandwidth and unlocking in-cabin experiences that were previously impossible. A²B 2.0 is engineered for seamless integration into evolving architectures like SDVs and supports Ethernet tunneling, making it a forward-looking solution that readily supports the growing Ethernet backbones in SDVs. This demonstration utilizes road noise capture with the ADXL318 RNC accelerometer and voice pre-processing implemented on ADI’s SHARC audio processor and the ADI LISTN portfolio of noise reduction & beamforming algorithms.
SDV-Ready Headlamps, No MCU Required
A classic ECU-controlled headlamp is converted into an SDV-ready device, controlled by a zonal controller via Ethernet. The solution utilizes Ethernet to the Edge Bus (E²B) and an LED driver to handle the lamp matrix. All control logic runs in software on the zonal level, enabling flexible and software-driven features. This proof-of-concept demo also includes additional necessary hardware functions such as stepper motor driver, smart switch for fan, and secure authenticator.
ADI LISTN: Elevating the In-Cabin Experience with Advanced Audio Capabilities
The ADI LISTN software suite transforms the driving experience with our solutions for Road Noise Cancellation, Personal Sound Zones, Acoustic Vehicle Alerting, and more, enabled by ADI's A²B audio bus, software drivers, and adaptive algorithms. This solution reduces the need for heavy passive damping materials, helping to reduce system cost, weight and material requirements. ADI’s high-performance solutions for improved in-cabin experience, delivering intelligence at the edge, provide customers with a faster time to market.
Immersive Video and Power Delivery via Zonal SDV Architecture
Learn more about the versatility of Zonal SDV architecture, with USB-PD charging with DisplayPort Alternate Mode from a portable device over USB Type-C. The system combines GMSL, USB-C, and DisplayPort to distribute data between sources, enabling seamless data transfer and supporting a range of applications. An uncompressed 1080p video stream is displayed on a monitor, providing an immersive experience.
Zonal-Ready Wireless EV Battery Management
ADI's Battery Management Solutions, including our production-ready wireless BMS (wBMS), increase performance, reliability, and lifetime value of EV batteries while reducing time to market and supporting various battery chemistries. The wBMS system is compatible with E²B technology, enabling remote ECU location and zonal ECU configurations, and demonstrates manufacturing integration ease through, RF robustness, and assembly speed.
