

Meet the Team

Anna Shaughnessy
Graduated from University of Limerick in 2023 with a Master of Electronic and Computer Engineering. I started working at ADI as a summer intern as a product applications engineer in the Automotive group while in college and continued working part-time through college. I then began a full-time position when I graduated. Outside of work I enjoy running and reading.

Sam Trimble
I graduated from University of Limerick in 2020 with a Bachelor of Electronic and Computer Engineering. After graduating, I joined ADI as a design evaluation engineer in the magnetics group working on various cutting edge magnetic sensors. I spent 2 years in magnetics group before changing role to a Systems Applications Engineer in the Smart Grid Solutions group where I work primarily on electric vehicle charger technology. Outside of work I enjoy water sports, golf and playing music.

Edel Harty
I graduated from the University of Limerick with a Bachelor of Business Studies and German, with a major in Marketing. Currently I am an external communications and marketing specialist with the EMEA Marketing and Communications Team since April 2022. Through my work I get to work with some of the world’s biggest companies (who are ADI’s customers) and travel all around Europe. I love all things music and most weekends you will find me at a concert!

Cian Shanahan
I graduated from the University of Limerick with a BSc in Computer Systems in 2023. The same year, I re-joined ADI Limerick’s Information Systems team as a network systems analyst, having previously spent time with the group as a co-op. In my role, I work with many different technologies and systems, from virtual machines to storage management to backup and disaster recovery solutions.
While my background is in software development, I enjoy working on projects that bring software and hardware together the most, making the Kinetic Tower a good fit for me! Outside of my day job, I also head up Limerick’s chapter of the Young Professionals Network. Originally from Kilkenny, I enjoy socialising with friends and watching a range of sports, and if you catch me heading away, it’s more than likely to attend a concert!

Jerome Sarsfield
I graduated from the University of Limerick with a Bachelor of Electronic Engineering and Computer Engineering in 2024. Within ADI I work as a research science engineer, focusing primarily on testing and working with electric vehicle batteries—ranging from individual cells to complete modules and packs. My passion for engineering and electronics began at an early age as I loved taking things apart to understand how they worked. Outside of work, I spend time in my garage working on cars, electrical projects, 3D printing and enjoying time with friends.

Brónagh O’Hanlon
Graduated from University of Limerick in 2023 with a Bachelor of Electronics and Computer Engineering. Currently undertaking a part time master's with TUS in Energy Infrastructure, focusing on the Renewable Energy in Ireland. I work as a hardware systems design engineer within Digital Healthcare Business Unit at ADI. I decided to become an engineer to make a positive impact on the world – and my role at ADI lets me do just that – both in my role, and extra curriculars like BTYSTE! Outside of work I like to spend time by the sea, travel, and spend quality time with family and friends.

Kaelan Quinn
I graduated from NUIG with a Bachelor of Electronic and Computer Engineering in 2021. I now work as a test development engineer in the Automotive Audio and Networks Team, where every second of test time is important and could save millions of dollars in production cost. My engineering journey began with building Lego Technic kits and making redstone devices in Minecraft. It has led me to designing, building, and making videos about cosplay props, fun gadgets, and goofy ideas in my free time. I also enjoy painting, dancing, and cooking as a break from tech.

Serena Thalma Nabasirye
Graduated from UL in 2024 with a a Bachelor of Electronic and Computer Engineering. I work in as a digital design engineer in the Industrial Automation business unit. As an extracurricular I am involved with the YPN and I am a grad rep. In my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities, make up, and curating art and music.

Kim O’ Regan
I graduated from University of Limerick in 2024 with a Bachelor of Computer Systems. I joined ADI as a co-op intern in 2022 as part of the customer tools experience team and started full time in July 2024, as a Software Engineer in the Software and Security group. In my free time I like to bake, cook and read.

Ciara Beechinor
Just graduated this year from University College Cork with a Bachelor of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, I’ve joined Analog Devices’ Industrial Automation Business Unit as a System Applications Engineer. This role allows me to work with both hardware and software aspects of ADI products, and to apply those learnings to solve customer problems. It’s a great experience being a part of ADI’s BT Young Scientist team and shows the variety of opportunities the company has to offer! In my free time, I enjoy all things music and spending time outdoors.

James Kelleher
I graduated with a Master of Electrical and Electronic Engineering from University College Cork in 2024. I first joined ADI in 2022 as an intern, and I rejoined my team as a product applications engineer in 2023 as part of an 8-month co-op for my degree. I have since returned to ADI as a graduate digital design engineer in June 2024 in the precision converter group. Our group focuses on making precision converters that are used in a range of applications that require high accuracy. I first became interested in engineering from building different Lego kits and then building my first gaming PC. Outside of work, I am interested in all things technology as well as going to concerts and hiking.

Viren Bhosale
I have survived COVID, embarked on a fantastic educational journey as an intern at Maxim Integrated (now part of ADI), and graduated with a Masters of Electronic and Computer Engineering from the University College Dublin, and received a Cum Laude Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Dallas, U.S.A. I work as a functional verification engineer for the Automotive and Electrification Group at Analog Devices. My portfolio includes patent(s) and several high revenue Integrated Chips. I find peace with my family, jiujitsu, extravagant barbecues, public speaking with Toastmasters, and PCB design.

Lauren Fegan
Graduated with a Master of Electronic and Electrical Engineering from Queen’s University Belfast in 2024. I have since joined the Central Application Team in Dublin, where we support broad market customers with all their technical needs. My first exposure to the engineering world was through an Erasmus scholarship, where I travelled to Munich to build my very own drone from concept to finished product. After that, I was hooked. Outside of work, you will find me reading, swimming or booking my next trip to see a new part of the world!

Stephen Burke
Graduated from UL with a Bachelor of Chemical & Biochemical Engineering in 2024 and joined ADI the same year as a process engineer in photolithography. Every day I support the tools inside the fab ensuring the run as optimally as possible whilst also looking for any improvements to the fab processes. Outside of work you can find me playing and watching rugby, building Lego sets, tinkering with old games consoles and PCs and baking a range of food.

Jake Connolly
I graduated from the University of Limerick in 2023 with a Bachelor of Applied Physics. Initially, I started with ADI as a co-op back in 2022, I joined ADI full-time in 2023 as an External Foundry Engineer. On a day-to-day basis I work as a process owner for lower technology nodes that are required to be manufactured outside of ADI. Outside of work I enjoy playing rugby and watching all kinds of sports.

Jacob Quinn
I graduated from the University of Limerick in 2024 with a Bachelor’s in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering. I recently joined ADI as a process engineer in Epi/Implant groups where we work on problems with various toolsets for wafer fabrication, looking for solutions to the issues that occur. In my spare time, I like to try the various restaurants across limerick city and enjoy playing Dungeons and Dragons with a group of friends from college.

Martyna Moldawa
Graduating from TUS with an Honours Bachelor of Electronic Engineering and Computer Systems in 2024. I embarked on my professional journey at ADI as a reliability engineer in the quality department. My role allows me to blend hardware and software in my daily tasks, which I find immensely rewarding. Outside of work, I like getting creative with crochet and knitting, enjoy gaming, and love hiking with friends.

John Christie
I graduated from the University of Limerick in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Product Design & Technology. My skillset is a unique mix of mix of engineering and creative design which enables me to use design thinking and creative problem solving to help innovate and co-create. I joined Analog Devices in 2021 as a co-op in ADI Catalyst (Analog’s Customer Innovation Hub) and have worked here ever since. I am now a Catalyst Development Engineer which allows me to grow my skills in 3D printing, Graphic Design as well as delivering effective presentations that communicate complex technical concepts clearly and in easy-to-understand terms. When I’m not at work, I love attending concerts or travelling to new places.

Orla Fitzmaurice
I graduated from UL in 2024 with a Bachelor of Mathematical Sciences with Statistics. I recently joined ADI as a Machine Learning Engineer on the Enterprise AI Engineering team where we integrate AI into all aspects of the enterprise to improve productivity. In my spare time I love to read, keep active, and get outdoors.

Sean O’Neill
Graduated from UL in 2023 with a Bachelor of Computer Systems and started working at ADI as a test development engineer. I am very competitive and play badminton competitively and basketball casually. I am also involved in ADI’s internal Young Professionals Network, ADI’s primary school's robotics competition and also in ADI’s internal technical conference, ETC.

Ellen Murphy
I graduated from UL in 2024 with a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic and Computer Engineering. I joined ADI as an applications engineer in the Automotive Networking group on a co-op and returned as an intern and now a graduate engineer. I am excited to join the BTYSTE team as my interest in engineering started when I participated in the 2018 competition. I contributed to developing a device designed to prevent hot car deaths in children, and to my surprise won the technology group category! Outside of work I enjoy music, reading and traveling.

Seán Moore
Graduated from the University of Limerick in 2023 with a Bachelor of Electronic and Computer Engineering. I joined Analog Devices in 2021 for my college work placement and returned as a graduate in 2023. I work as a design evaluation engineer for the Isolation Team. I have a passion for coding and enjoy problem-solving. Outside of work I enjoy running, travelling, woodworking, and making DIY projects. I also convinced some of the BTYSTE team to complete a charity skydive!

Aoife Prendergast
I graduated from the University of Galway with a Bachelor of Electronic and Computer Engineering in 2021. Since then, I have been working in the Quality Department at Analog Devices, designing bespoke systems for reliability testing of the ICs that we manufacture. My favourite part of my job is that I get to work on both hardware and software elements of the systems I develop with my team. I am passionate about all things STEM and promoting it to students in schools and our communities. In my free time, I like to crochet, knit and sporadically run.

Cian Vaugh
Graduated with a Master of Electronic Engineering from Maynooth University in 2021. After working for a year abroad in Switzerland, joined ADI as product applications engineer for the Consumer Custom Silicon Group. On a day-to-day basis I provide technical resources to enable customers on their development journeys of newest tech going into your laptops, phones, watches and more. Outside of work you will either find me kayaking in sun, rain, hail, or snow, tinkering with electronics or my 3D printers, or doing analog old school film photography.

Piotr Sloniec
Graduated from University of Limerick with a Master's of Electronic and Computer Engineering in Summer 2024. Joined ADI's Magnetic Sensing group as a Design Evaluation Engineer after graduation. On a daily basis I support my team in testing cutting edge magnetic sensors. I validate different PCB designs and make sure the simulations match their real-world behavior. Besides my work, I have a strong interest in hardware design, and I like to work on DIY projects at home. If you don't see me working on improving my engineering skills, you can probably find me on the bouldering walls in one of Limerick's climbing gyms.

Adam Fahey
I graduated with a degree in Electronic and Computer Engineering from the University of Galway in 2021. I joined Analog Devices as a Design Evaluation Engineer in the Magnetic Sensing group. I work extensive with design PCBs and mechanical setups to allow for testing and evaluation of cutting-edge magnetic sensors. I am also an avid member of Analog Devices’ Green Team, where I get to help promote sustainability within our company!

James Duffy
Graduated from TUS with a Bachelor’s of Electronic Engineering with Computer Systems in 2024. I joined Analog Devices in March of 2023 for a 6-month internship, then returned to ADI as a graduate in July of 2024. Within ADI I work as a test development engineer, where I create automated tests that ensure every chip that is sent to our customers is working correctly. I spend my free time playing board game with friends, working on cars, 3D printing, playing video games, and have been trying to learn to draw!
