X-ray and Radiation Hardening Disclaimer

ADI recommends limiting the total X-ray exposure to <1 Gray for our products. Exposure over this limit may affect the devices. ADI recommends that industry best practices should be followed to minimize the exposure and if necessary, filtering and other mitigation techniques should be utilized to reduce the dose.

Radiation Hardening

Analog Devices carefully controls and documents all wafer-fabrication, assembly, test operations, and design changes. Additionally, while Analog Devices does not and cannot guarantee radiation tolerance for a specific application, many of our military-grade products have undergone radiation testing and qualify for commercial space-system hardness levels. For critical applications, Analog Devices recommends customers test and evaluate their final system configuration to verify suitability for those critical applications.
