Abstract

This design guide reviews new trends in LED driver technology for automotive applications and the associated system challenges. Through case studies, the guide examines LED driver power management solutions to improve driver safety by producing fast, complex light pattern changes that improve visibility in poor light conditions for more effective driver monitoring systems (DMS).
