Lighting Control for SDV's
This demo presents a low latency, AI driven, software driven, vehicle application for headlight and signal control of SDV's. Our demo brings together three key elements: A camera with GMSL output for high-speed, long-distance, reliable vision data transfer. Two headlamps featuring E2B connectivity that allows a direct connection to a zonal controller without requiring a microcontroller. An NVIDIA Orin processing unit, acting as the central brain of the system.
Together, these components create a powerful platform that captures user’s gestures and sends the data through GMSL to the NVIDIA processor. An AI gesture detection model running on Orin, is interpreting the user’s intend. Based on the detected gesture, the system sends commands over E2B to the headlamps for adjusting brightness, activating turn signals or controlling the level adjustment motors.
