Product Details
EV2HMC788ALP2 is one of two evaluation boards for HMC788ALP2E. It includes a wideband bias tee that consists of surface mount inductors, capacitors and resistors. This circuit is mechanically less fragile than EV1HMC788ALP2 which uses a wideband conical bias inductor on the RF output. EV2HMC788ALP2 is populated with components suitable for use over the entire −40°C to +85°C operating temperature range of the HMC788ALP2E. To calibrate board trace losses, a through calibration path is provided between the J1 and J2 connectors. J1 and J2 must be populated with RF connectors to use the through calibration path.
