The μMAC-4000 combines, on a single 9 ½" x 13" board, signal conditioning and a/d conversion, as well as microcomputer control and ASCII data communication for 12 (or more) channels of analog sensor input and 8/8 (or more) lines of digital-control I/O. It solves efficiently, and in one master stroke, the sensor-to-computer interface problem: acquiring information from different types of sensors and converting the information into a form that a computer can deal with handily.
