Voltage switches, operated by DTL/TTL logic, are used with resistive ladder networks to make digital-to-analog converters. Analog Devices has recently introduced the new AD555 series of monolithic quad voltage switches (four to a chip), a unique design having superb tracking (±1mV, 10Ω) and capable of 12-bit (i.e., ±0.0125% = ±½LSB) accuracy.
