Abstract

This application note describes a boot loader that can be programmed into Teridian's single- and 3-phase energy-metering ICs with a low-cost tool, such as the TFP2 flash download module or a Signum Systems^® in-circuit emulator (ICE). Once the boot loader is programmed into flash, application-code downloads require only a terminal program, such as HyperTerminal^® emulation program.
