I want to take a linear combination of analog voltages with both positive and negative coefficients, using a single operational amplifier. In Figure 1, for example:

自1969年（第3卷）起担任“模拟对话”的编辑。他于1948年以优异成绩获得美国伍斯特理工学院电气工程学士学位，并于1949年获得哥伦比亚大学电气工程硕士学位。他曾在George A. Philbrick Researches, Inc.工作19年，从事模拟计算机和运算放大器的应用工作并撰写相关文章，包括编辑广为流传的“应用手册——计算放大器”。此后，他加入ADI公司。在ADI公司，除“模拟对话”外，他还编辑了有关数据转换器（多次再版）、非线性电路、传感器接口的书籍，以及Richard Higgins的《VLSI中的数字信号处理》。1990年，他因为“对人们了解和使用模拟器件及数据转换器做出非凡贡献”而当选为IEEE院士。
