The AD7875 and AD7876 use a high-density linear-compatible bipolar/CMOS process (LC2MOS) to combine a 12-bit a/d converter (ADC), sample/hold (SHA), reference, and interface logic on a single monolithic chip. Their high dc accuracy and high conversion rate (100 ksps with a 2.5-MHz clock), are useful in high-speed traditional measurement-and-control—especially where large numbers of channels are multiplexed—formerly requiring a separate SHA and ADC.
