Product Details

The ADRD3161-01Z is a high‑performance field‑oriented control (FOC) motor‑driver module designed for a wide range of motion‑control applications. Built around the TMC9660 smart gate driver, the board supports multiple motor types, including stepper motors, BLDC/PMSM motors, and brushed DC motors, making it suitable for both precision motion systems and general‑purpose motor control. The platform additionally accommodates quadrature (ABN/ABZ/ABI) encoders and digital Hall sensors, enabling closed‑loop feedback and advanced control features when required.

Communication with the ADRD3161-01Z is achieved through CANopen CiA‑402, operating at a data rate of 500 kbaud. For development, tuning, and low‑level configuration, the underlying TMC9660 can also be accessed directly over UART, allowing developers to interact with the device using the TMCL‑IDE software environment.

APPLICATIONS

  • Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs)
  • Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs)
