Analog Devices (ADI) and Green Hills Software (GHS) have Blackfin Processor object file-compatible development tools
that enable embedded systems developers to bring their products to market in a faster and less expensive manner. Providing
multiple tools suites allows developers to choose a development style that is best suited to the needs of their
organization. Embedded system developers can select either a single tools suite or implement a mixed ADI/GHS development
environment to exploit the strengths of both tool sets.
Blackfin Processors are fully supported by ADI's CROSSCORE development tool chain, which includes the
VisualDSP++ Integrated Development and Debugging
Environment (IDDE), and by Green Hills' MULTI® IDE tool suite.
