A Reader Notes: Reactant Flow Sensor by Jason Dugas (jason.a.dugas@nasa.gov) - from Analog Dialogue Volume 38, Number 3, 2004

A Reader Notes: FORTHstamp is a true single chip computer, based on the ADuC7020 precision analog microcontroller. The ADuC7020 includes a 32-bit ARM7 microprocessor and a host of peripherals, including a serial communication port (UART), general purpose digital inputs and outputs (GPIO), an analog-to-digital converter (ADC), four digital-to-analog converters (DAC), and 92 KB of programmable (flash) memory. It provides an excellent platform for using Forth to develop real-time applications. Submitted by Dr. Chen-Hanson Ting, Offete Enterprises.

A Reader Notes: I found your design using the AD71028 as a satellite set-top-box (STB) stereo synthesizer clever and interesting.  However, I can suggest two corrections to the information in the article. One is the RF spectrum of a modulated NTSC video and audio signal... The second correction may be significant if a reader is trying to understand the design by performing calculations. When describing the precision N-divider, the value N is listed as 780.9838...  The precise value is actually 780.9706666...  Read the complete exchange between Matt Laun and Jeritt Kent.

A Reader Responds: In the Analog Dialogue Volume 41, Number 2 Editors' Notes, [Scott] wrote: “The second problem is that the GPS loses its signal when I travel through Boston's Big Dig tunnels, making it unable to maintain its bearings or to provide instructions for lane splits and exits. Too bad it doesn't include an ADI accelerometer, whose inertial navigation capabilities could provide positional information during these temporary signal losses.” Bob Paddock responded, “Now, extend that problem to coal mines, where GPS is useless *ALL* of the time.” Read the complete letter and Dan's comments.
