Step #2: Design and Optimize

The ADIsimPower collection of design tools produce complete power designs using real component behavior and is optimized for your design goals (efficiency, cost, size or component count). Each tool generates a schematic, bill of materials, and performance data such as bode plot, transient response, efficiency, or thermal stresses on components.

An evaluation board can be ordered directly from the tool for fast prototyping.

Step #3: Simulate

ADIsimPE is a Linear and Mixed-Signal Circuit Simulator and is powered by SIMetrix/SIMPLIS.

SIMetrix/SIMPLIS is a circuit simulation suite optimized for the design and development of analog and mixed signal circuits. SIMetrix mode handles general SPICE applications and is ideal for linear circuits. SIMPLIS (SIMulation Piecewise-Linear System) mode is for discrete time and non-linear circuits such as PLLs and switching power supply circuits.
