SigmaDSP™ Audio Processors
DSP that every analog designer can love ...
SigmaDSP™ Digital Audio enables anyone to use a fully programmable audio DSP that is easily configurable through the SigmaStudio™ Graphical Development Tool. The first generation SigmaDSP products, including the AD1953, combine three high-performance audio DACs with the powerful DSP core. The all-digital second generation parts, the AD1940 and AD1941, feature higher processing power with more I/O channels.
The newest SigmaDSP products, the ADAU1701 and ADAU1702 incorporate full analog I/O, digital I/O and stand-alone functionality to provide a full audio processing system on a single chip. The ADAU1401 has similar functionality to the ADAU1701, but is designed specifically for the automotive market and specified over the extended temperature range.
SigmaStudio is a fully-graphical programming tool which allows the user to create a signal flow using familiar audio processing blocks, such as biquad filters, delays, and dynamics processors. This design can be linked directly to the SigmaDSP hardware and the SigmaStudio tool can be used as a real-time control surface for the design's parameters, allowing easy system tuning. Third-party algorithms, such as Dolby® ProLogic® II, Audistry™, Waves MaxxBass®, and SRS® TruSurround XT™ are available for the SigmaDSP and integrate seamlessly into the SigmaStudio environment. Please contact Analog Devices for a complete list of available third-party algorithms.
Evaluation kits, including evaluation boards and the full SigmaStudio tools package, are available now for all SigmaDSP products. Check the SigmaDSP FAQ for any questions you might have. If they are not answered there, direct any SigmaDSP support inquiries to sigmadsp@analog.com
