ADL5375-05-EVALZ is a fully populated, 4-layer, FR4-based evaluation board. For normal operation, it requires a 5 V/500 mA power supply. The 5 V power supply should be connected to the clip leads labeled VPOS and GND. The LO and baseband inputs (which should be biased at 0.5 V) are applied to edge-mounted SMA-type RF connectors. The ADL5375 output drives the ADL5320 driver amplifier with its output and is available at the SMA connector labeled AMP_OUT. The ADL5375's output can be accessed directly at the SMA connector labeled AMP_IN/SMA_OUT (remove R2 and install zero ohms in R1). The evaluation board also includes options to drive the LO differentially through a balun along with pads that can be used to implement a harmonic filter in the LO path.
