AD9520/22 Configuration Tool Installer Instructions
===================================================

The AD9520 Configuration tool is designed to help the user configure the PLL
divider settings based on the user's input and output frequency. It will also
assist the user with designing the loop filter after the PLL settings are chosen.
Note that the AD9522 is identical to the AD9520 in this regard, so the tool
can be used to configure that part as well.

The AD9520 Configuration Tool requires the target machine to have a previously
installed copy of the Matlab Compiler Runtime (MCR) Version 7.3. If the target
machine has an installed copy of the MCR, then perform STEP II, only.

NOTE: You can check if the MCR is already installed on a Windows operating
system by going to the "Add or Remove Programs" section of the "Control Panel".

If the target machine does not have an installed copy of the MCR, then perform
STEP I and STEP II sequentially.

STEP I.
-----------------

1) Create a folder on the target machine (name is arbitrary)

2) Download and Unzip MCR_Installer_7v3.zip to the folder you created on the target machine.

3) Run "MCR_Installer_7v3.exe" to install MCR. This may take a few minutes.

STEP II.
-----------------

1) Create a folder on the target machine in which you would like the
AD9520 Configuration Tool to reside. This can be the same folder
   created in Step 1 above.

2) Download "AD9520_ConfigTool_1v1_Installer.exe" to the folder
you created on the target machine.

3) Run "AD9520_ConfigTool_1v1_Installer.exe"

4) Go to the folder that you created in Step II, item 1).

5) When the installer finishes, run the file: AD9520_ConfigTool_1v1.exe.
This will launch the AD9520 Configuration Tool program.

From this point forward, anytime you want to use the AD9520
Configuration Tool simply run the program, AD9520_ConfigTool_1v1.exe.

NOTE:
Whenever the MCR loads the first time after a system reboot, please be patient as it
can take up to a minute depending on your computer's speed and memory capacity. The
MCR loads considerably quicker, however, on subsequent calls.
