Note that viewing external memory through a memory window may conflict with Parallel Port use by the target application. External memory accesses through the debugger is extrememly slow, this is being addressed. - The Analog Devices Inc. drivers for EZ-Kits and emulators are not currently digitally signed by Microsoft Corporation, but have been tested within our internal lab and work under the various Windows operating systems. We are currently evaluating and investigating the certification process and its value to our end product. - On WindowsXP, unplug USB cable from one USB port and plug in another USB port would cause New Hardware Found message and have to reinstall USB device driver. - Physically resetting the target processor is not supported while the ICE is connected and halted. If a reset must be applied then the target should be in a running state or the debugger should first be exited. - Memory fills using the "Memory->Fill..." command on either a 2106x or a 2116x will not be verified when "Verify all writes to target memory" is checked in the Target Options dialog. Loading programs and manually entering data into memory windows will be properly verified. - 21160 revision 0.x MS cycle counter register does not show proper value, it is a duplicate of the LS register. - Scrolling through MP memory regions on a 2106x device may cause the debugger to display invalid data in memory and register windows. To fix this, simply refresh the windows (F12 or Window->Refresh) and the correct data will be reloaded from the target. - Bits transfered to IMASKP from IRPTL upon servicing an interrupt, may be shifted right by 1 bit. This is a bug on ADSP-21160 Rev 0.0 and Rev 0.1 silicon. Rev 1.0 and higher parts fix this problem.
