
These instructions describe how to install the ADRF6573 customer rev 0p0p0 software GUI, as well as the Cypress Generic USB driver, onto a Windows XP, Vista,
or Windows 7 PC running a 32bit OS. 

1. If it is plugged in, unplug the RFG USB adapter from the PC.

2. Extract the ADRF6573_0p0p0_customer_software.zip file and run the file ADRF6573_0p0p0_install.exe. 
    An icon should appear on your desktop with the ADI logo, entitled 'ADRF6573 software, 0.0.0'.

3. Once the installer is finished, you will need to install the USB driver. Plug the RFG USB adapter into the PC using a USB cable. 
   In either XP or Vista, right click on My Computer and then select Properties. In Vista, you then select the Device Manager option. 
   In XP, you select the hardware tab and then Device Manager. In Device Manager, select the last category, Universal Serial Bus Controllers.
      There will be an entry that either has a yellow flag on it (for unknown device) 
      or it will say ADF4xxx USB Driver (if you have installed the previous ADRF6x0x or Limerick PLL software). Right click on this device and select 'update driver'. 
      Browse to select the directory where you unzip. Click on 'Next' and Windows should complete the driver installation.
   In Window 7, need to install window 7 usb signed driver. run " ADI_RFG_Drivers_Win7.exe" in the attached .zip file,
      Windows 7 will then recognize the CyUSB driver as a signed driver.
