ADI BMS: Synchronicity for High Performance

Witness the key requirements of a high voltage battery stack battery management system: Measuring, monitoring and responding to the conditions of the battery cells and the combined pack characteristics. This demo combines multiple Analog Devices battery cell monitor and battery pack monitoring devices operating synchronously via the proprietary reversible isoSPI communication bus to demonstrate synchronous measurement capability and tolerance to harness faults. A GUI will display measurements and diagnostics. Input conditions and fault modes can be controlled, while the results are displayed on an overhead monitor.

ADI's <em>i</em>Coupler Gate Drivers Optimize EMI, Efficiency and Overshoot

Fixed gate drivers force a compromise due to the conflicting design goals of maximizing efficiency while minimizing EMI and switch voltage stress over the EV drive cycle. ADI’s slew rate controlled isolated gate drivers allow designers to tune their systems in different operating modes to reduce these limitations. See these gate drivers in action via live benchtop demonstrations.

High-Performance LDC Solution for Alternator Replacement

This demo showcases ADI’s complete, high-efficiency, compact solution for alternator replacement in full EV platforms. The size and performance are made possible using ADI’s latest digital power controllers, SMPS converts, isolated gate drivers, and signal conditioning products to yield a 3.3kW 450V-to-12V LDC solution with peak efficiencies greater than 96%. The solution may be easily adopted to the end customer's needs with minimal effort.
