SPECIAL FEATURES FOR EASY SYSTEM DESIGN
- On-chip MPU with I2C master to perform HDCP operations and EDID reading operations
- 5 V tolerant I2C and HPD I/Os, no extra device needed
- No audio master clock needed for supporting S/PDIF and I2S
- On-chip MPU reports HDMI events through interrupts and registers
The ADV7511 is a 225 MHz High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI®) transmitter, which is ideal for home entertainment products including DVD players/recorders, digital set top boxes, A/V receivers, gaming consoles, and PCs.
The digital video interface contains an HDMI 1.4- and a DVI 1.0-compatible transmitter, and supports all HDTV formats (including 1080p with 12-bit Deep Color). The ADV7511 supports the HDMI 1.4-specific features, HEAC (ARC), and 3D video. In addition to these features, the ADV7511 supports x.v.Color™, high bit rate audio, and programmable AVI InfoFrames. With the inclusion of HDCP, the ADV7511 allows the secure transmission of protected content as specified by the HDCP 1.4 protocol.
The ADV7511 supports both S/PDIF and 8-channel I2S audio. Its high fidelity 8-channel I2S can transmit either stereo or 7.1 surround audio up to 768 kHz. The S/PDIF can carry compressed audio including Dolby® Digital, DTS®, and THX®. Fabricated in an advanced CMOS process, the ADV7511 is provided in a 100-lead LQFP surface-mount plastic package and is specified over the 0°C to +70°C temperature range.

EVAL-ADV7612
ADV7612 and ADV7511 Evaluation Board
Product Detail
This is a board for evaluating the combination the ADV7612 HDMI receiver and the ADV7511 HDMI transmitter. It has dual HDMI inputs and HDMI output. There is a Blackfin BF524 on the board which is a controller and can be used for audio processing between input and output. The video and audio bus is jumper-able so any of the parts can be evaluated by themselves or with customer hardware in between. Evaluation software is available. Documentation on how to alter jumpers and Scripts are available that will make ADV7612 work like ADV7611 and ADV7511 work like ADV7513.
Customers wishing to order the EVAL-ADV7612-7511 or the EVAL-ADV7612-7511P must be HDMI adopters listed at HDMI.org. Customers wishing to order the EVAL-ADV7612-7511 must also be HDCP licensees.

This is a board for evaluating the ADV7842 combination Decoder / Digitizer / HDMI Receiver and ADV7511 HDMI Transmitter. It has VGA, Composite, Component, HDMI, and SVideo inputs and HDMI output. Product Detail
The Zynq®-7000 All Programmable SoC Evaluation Kit Optimized for JESD204B provides a data capture platform for many of the RadioVerse families of wideband transceiver evaluation boards. A single 12 V power supply provides power for both the Zynq® and the RadioVerse evaluation boards. The data capture platform interfaces to the RadioVerse evaluation boards through a variety of interfacing standards including JESD207 and JESD204B. The JESD204B interface on the Zynq® evaluation system supports up to 12.5 Gbps lane rates. A variety of interface options allows the evaluation kit to interface directly to a PC monitor, keyboard, and mouse as well to a PC running the Transceiver Evaluation or Prototyping Software Packages.
