The ADL5321 is a broadband, linear driver RF amplifier that operates at frequencies from 2.3 GHz to 4.0 GHz. The device can be used in a wide variety of wired and wireless applications, including ISM, WLL, PCS, GSM, CDMA, and W-CDMA.
The ADL5321 operates with a 5 V supply voltage and a supply current of 90 mA.
The ADL5321 is fabricated on the GaAs HBT process. The device is packaged in a low cost SOT-89 that uses an exposed paddle for excellent thermal impedance. It operates from −40°C to +105°C, and a fully populated evaluation board is available.
The ADL5320 is a companion part to the ADL5321 that operates at similar performance from 400 MHz to 2700 MHz.

EVAL-ADL5321
ADL5321 Evaluation Board
Product Detail
ADL5321-EVALZ is a fully populated, 4-layer, FR4-based evaluation board. For normal operation, it requires a single 5 V/300 mA supply. The 5 V supply should be connected to the test loops labeled VCC and GND. The RF input is applied to the SMA connector labeled RFIN. The RF output is available at the SMA connector labeled RFOUT. To facilitate tuning for different frequencies, the RF input and RF output traces are free of solder mask and have index markings for ease of component placement. The evaluation board ships with tuning components that are optimized for operation from 2500 MHz to 2700 MHz. The ADL5321 data sheet provides recommended tuning components for other frequencies.
