Battery-Powered Technologies for Handheld Devices

Handheld battery-powered systems need accurate state of health and state of charge to maximize how long they can be used during a workers shift and when they are really coming to EOL. With battery counterfeiting on the rise, secure battery authentication is needed more and more to protect the OEM battery makers. Witness how ADI's highest performance secure fuel gauge technology provides the highest performance SOA/SOC together with an integrated security authenticator block to allow battery packs to be fully authenticated using cyber security algorithms.

EV Charging Solutions

Electric vehicle supply equipment on the grid is quickly and continuously expanding but needs to accelerate even more. ADI is making it faster and easier for our customers to build their own charging system utilizing 2 open reference designs: (1) a 22kW AC Wallbox (Level 2) platform with authentication, metrology and charge controller (2) a 3.6kW AC Cordset (Level 1) reference design.
