Patrick O'Doherty

Patrick (Pat) O’Doherty

Vice President, Emerging Business Group

Pat is responsible for incubating new businesses within ADI, investing in promising start-ups, and mentoring entrepreneurs. Pat is known for knocking down road blocks and connecting founders to engineers, research, and business talent that can take ideas to the next level. With over 25 years of experience building successful businesses at ADI, areas of special interest include signal processing technology, industrial applications, and university partnerships. Pat is also on the Advisory Board of BOLT, SkyDeck & Greentown Labs.

Alain Guery

Alain Guery

Director, Emerging Business

Alain leads a dedicated team of PhDs and business strategists scouting, exploring, and cultivating disruptive ideas from inside and outside ADI. While medical and wearables are recent areas of interest, Alain spent much of his career collaborating alongside innovators in the industrial markets. Alain is highly regarded for the depth and breadth of his knowledge of semiconductors, energy and power devices, sensor-to-cloud systems and sensor device technology, particularly chemical, optical, and biological sensors. Alain’s business development team provides coaching and engineering support to start-ups primarily through accelerators and incubators.

Julie Murphy

Senior Director, Finance

Julie evaluates cutting-edge technology submitted by entrepreneurs and start-ups and leads the finance decisions for Analog Garage investments. She has more than 25 years of technology industry experience in finance and is a Certified Public Accountant. Julie is the Finance Director for the Office of the CTO.

Director of Emerging Business, Analog Garage

Nimrode leads the Analog Garage West team of business development and systems engineering experts based in San Jose. He joins the Analog Garage from ADI’s corporate M&A group where his strategic vision, financial analysis, and instincts for disruptive ideas drove a number of small, medium, and large deals.

Adrian Fox

Adrian Fox

Senior System Architect, Emerging Business Group

Adrian leads the Garage technical team in Silicon Valley. His background is in architecture and design of complex hardware systems and bringing them to production. Areas of specific interest are RF, power management and novel sensors. Adrian is primary liaison to SystemX Alliance at Stanford and the Berkeley Wireless Research Center.

Raj Senguttuvan

Raj Senguttuvan

Emerging Business Manager

Raj serves as the liaison to the startup ecosystem in Silicon Valley. He is experienced in Corporate Venture Capital/M&A having led several startup investments and an acquisition. His areas of interest include sensors/IoT, Point-of-care diagnostics, Industrial Automation, and Machine learning/AI. Raj holds an MBA degree from Cornell University and Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.

Roman Trogan

Roman Trogan

Senior Systems Architect, Emerging Business Group

Roman is responsible for technical and business assessment with an emphasis on new ideas for bioengineering systems and technologies, RF and microwave electronic systems, and computer architecture. He evaluates the system design aspects of new business ideas and looks for ways to collaborate. Roman has been on the ground floor of start-ups and is passionate about finding deep tech breakthroughs that can thrive in the stochastic world of emerging businesses.

Craig's role in the Analog Garage involves fostering high-impact technology innovation, new business development and technical marketing focused on chemical, optical and biological sensors, autonomous systems and nanotechnology enabled devices. He brings an entrepreneurial spirit in his work, leveraging startup experience where he led teams at QD Vision Inc. pioneering quantum dot technology for QLED™ displays. He is adept at creating meaningful corporate partnerships and navigating multidisciplinary problems to unlock commercially relevant performance that result in first-in-class market adoption.

Emerging Business Development

Ashish drives new business development & disruptive technology innovation focused on energy storage systems, machine learning & predictive analytics, and all things RF. He brings significant experience in leading new technology, product and business development at scale across international boundaries in areas such as handsets, high speed converters, and wireless communication systems.

Vlad Kvartenko

Systems/Product Engineering Manager

As a member of the Analog Garage H3 Team, Vlad vets new ideas, mentors idea champions through the funnel process, helps to develop, validate, mature and bring to the market new technologies. Vlad led Product Engineering efforts on the first successfully graduated Analog Garage project. Vlad is passionate about bringing innovative ideas to market-ready level. His main areas of expertise are wireless telecommunication systems, mixed signal systems, hardware design, embedded systems design, mixed signal IC design validation and test.

Jonathan Yedidia

Jonathan Yedidia

Director of AI Research

Jonathan directs the Algorithmic Systems Group at Analog Garage, which creates advanced signal processing and AI algorithms, and implements those algorithms in efficient hardware to solve real world problems. He studied and researched AI algorithms for over 30 years at Princeton, Bell Labs, Harvard, the Ecole Normale Superieure, MERL, and Disney Research, before coming to Analog Garage in 2016.

Lei Poo

Lei Poo

Director, Secure Technology Group

Lei leads the Security Architecture and Platforms team in the Boston office, and is driving the strategy to build security into ADI’s silicon products. Prior to joining ADI, Lei was with NXP, Broadcom and Marvell where she was formerly an embedded systems and security architect who designed secure chip/controller solutions for Smartcard/Smartphones, Set-top boxes, and Secure Disk Drives.

Colm Prendergast

Colm Prendergast

Principal Engineer and Principal System Architect

Colm works on algorithms and systems for autonomous vehicle sensing applications. During his career at ADI Colm has led projects in a wide variety of applications areas including, Digital Video, Audio, Communications and DSP, and MEMs. Most recently Colm has led ADI’s cloud technology development effort in the IoT space. Colm holds 14 US patents and is a member of IEEE and SIGGRAPH. Colm received a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering from University of Limerick, Ireland and a Master’s Degree from University College Cork, Ireland.

Eric Nestler

Eric Nestler

ADI Fellow

Eric received his BSEE from Tufts University and a MSEE from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. After working at HP Medical and Symbolics, Inc he joined ADI in 1987. Eric was the founder of the Energy Metering division in ADI that has shipped over 500 Million energy metering parts during that last 30 years. Eric left ADI in 2004 to work for two startups. The second, Lyric Semiconductor, was acquired by ADI in June 2011. While at Lyric Eric began developing switched-capacitor analog signal processing circuit technology that provides very low power for complex signal processing. His present work is in Sampled Analog Technology (SAT) designs applied to areas such as sensor interfaces, RF, and ultrasound imaging. Eric has over 25 patents issued in a number circuit and product areas.

Jason joined the Garage with 20 years of experience in the ATE industry in electrical, systems, and software engineering, where he focused on systems architecture and performance. His interests include programming languages, algorithms, and software engineering practices.
