X Band Hybrid Beamforming Phased Array Radar System Platform
In this webcast we will discuss the X-Band Development Kit which is a scalable phased array X-Band radar system platform capable of hybrid beamforming showcasing an entire signal chain from RF to Bits. The system platform consists of a 32 element transmit and receive analog beamforming board with 10 GHz lattice spacing, a X Band to C Band upconverter and downconverter with RX gain control, and an AD9081 Mixed Signal Front End evaluation board. System control is accomplished by a Xilinx ZCU102 development board controlled via Mathworks MATLAB toolbox.
System Platform Applications Engineer, Aerospace and Defense Business Unit
Sam Ringwood is a system platforms applications engineer for the Aerospace and Defense Business Unit located in Greensboro, North Carolina. Prior to joining ADI, Sam worked in RF test and RF design roles within the U.S. Nuclear Weapons Complex. He received his B.S.E.C.E degree in 2015 and M.S.E.E degree in 2016 from University of Missouri—Kansas City. Sam is currently focusing on creating full system solutions for aerospace and defense applications such as phased array radar.
