Designing RF Power and VSWR Measurement Systems

This webcast will provide a step-by-step approach to designing RF power and return loss measurement systems. The webcast will focus on a number of common applications such as precision RF Power Measurement, measuring VSWR or Return Loss, measuring RF envelopes and detecting RF pulses. During this webinar you will learn how to configure and design typical RF Power Measurement circuits, how to differentiate between the various types of RF Detectors (Log, RMS, Envelope, Dual), and how to understand the key performance specs of RF Detectors and how they affect system performance.

Eamon Nash is an applications director for RF amplifiers and beamformers at Analog Devices. He has worked at Analog Devices for 30 years in various field and factory roles covering mixed-signal, precision, and RF products. He is currently focused on RF amplifiers and beamformer products for satcom and radar. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in electronics from University of Limerick, Ireland, along with five patents.
