The Evolving Architecture of Military Communication Systems

This webcast explores the different bands of Military Communications including advantages and disadvantages for each. We will talk briefly about the shift toward Software Defined Radios (SDR) and what that means for system designers today. We talk about the Tx/Rx signal chains for these radios traditionally and where they are heading in the future including discussion on some of the key Analog and Mixed Signal technology driving these changes.

    Systems Applications Engineer

Shane Foss is a Systems Applications Engineer in the Military and Aerospace Group at Analog Devices, Inc. (Wilmington, MA). He joined ADI in 2001 and has held a variety of engineering roles focusing on Automatic Test Equipment ASICs, High Speed Comparators, Military Communication Systems, and Avionics. He graduated with an Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, MA in 2001.
