Social Sustainability

ADI strives to have a positive social impact, not only within our walls for our employees, but in our communities as well.

Community Engagement

ADI demonstrates what it means to be a high-quality corporate citizen by providing programs and initiatives to its local community and environments.

Medical, Dental, and Optical Mission
Every year, more than 450 individuals benefit from ADI Philippines volunteer medical, dental, and optical missions it holds in its nearby communities.

Smocks Upcycling
In line with our commitment to support the different sectors of our community, we’ve partnered with Sisters of Mary School on a project where they could use our used clean room garments and turn it into useful products. The school is a non-stock, non-profit, non-paying, live-in secondary institution for the marginalized poor of the country. The school is maintained and supported mainly by donations, gifts, and bequests coming from noble, selfless and well-meaning persons and entities, local and foreign.

Since our partnership in 2016, we have donated a total of 1900 pcs of used smocks and cleanroom garments that were made into bags, pillow cases, plant holders, aprons, toque, placemats, etc.

Community Engagement

Earth Day Celebration
Philippines, in cooperation with the City Government of General Trias through the City Environment and Natural Resources Office, supported the Annual Global Earth Day Celebration. A total of 47 ADI employees participated in the event which included tree planting and river clean-up along the streambank of Ylang-Ylang River at Brgy. Navarro, General Trias.

Emergency Preparedness and Response Lecture and Drill
In 2017, in line with National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) National Disaster Resilience Month, ADI Philippines conducted a lecture and facilitated a drill on Emergency Preparedness and Response in Manggahan Elementary School.

A total 250 students and faculty members benefited from the program. Basic emergency equipment – 2 megaphones, 2 First Aid Kits and 300 pcs whistle with flashlight were also donated.

ADI encourages employees to help protect the environment in the simplest way – adopting a tree and nurturing it. Every year, our ADI Philippines employees are given the opportunity to bring home fruit-bearing saplings that they can plant and nurture right in their own backyard. Launched in 2012, more than 3900 trees were adopted by the end of 2017.
