AD1852 executable files provide the Graphical User Interface (GUI) implemented in the LabView package. Using this software utility, one can evaluate the DAC's serial data port (SPI) control for Serial Mode, Number of Bits (16,20,24), Volume, Mute, De-emphasis and Power down. The detailed description of the supported features is given below.
Interface between PC and Evaluation board can be controlled through three different parallel port addresses (LPT1, LPT2 and LPT3) on the pc.
3-wire Serial Input Data Format(I2s, Left-Justified, Right-Justified etc.) control through serial port.
Volume control of DAC stereo input signals through serial port. Both right and left channel can be controlled either independently or simultaneously. Simultaneous control is provided by linking both channels through a "LINK" button on the Graphical Interface.
