High Performance, Low Power, Rail-to-Rail I/O Amplifier for Battery-Powered Instrumentation
Limited headroom, battery voltage fluctuations, and variable inputs can make it difficult to achieve accurate measurements in portable systems. The ADA4505-2 offers high input linearity with zero-input crossover distortion (PSRR is 100 dB minimum, CMRR is 105 dB typical)—simplifying the task considerably. Consuming only 10 µA per amplifier, the devices help extend battery life and are virtually immune to battery dropout voltage. The high linearity response eliminates the main source of dc errors that cannot be software calibrated, improving system accuracy.
The ADA4505-2 operates at 1.8 V to 5 V single supplies and is specified from –40°C to +125°C. It is available in 8-lead MSOP and LFCSP packages.

±15 V Switches and Multiplexers Offer Industry-Leading Performance
Analog Devices offers a large portfolio of ±15 V switches and multiplexers that are used in a wide and growing range of industrial and instrumentation applications. With the development of the iCMOS® process, Analog Devices has been able to deliver on its commitment for continuous product and process development—releasing a large number of switches and multiplexers that offer industry-leading performance in very small form factors, enabling board area space savings.
The ADG1406 is a 16:1 multiplexer that switches one of 16 single-ended inputs to a common output, as determined by four address lines. The ADG1407 is a differential 8:1 multiplexer that switches one of eight differential inputs to a common output, as determined by three address lines. Both offer 9.5 Ω on resistance, 0.55 Ω channel-to-channel match, and 1.6 Ω variation over the full signal range. Fully specified for 12 V, ±5 V, and ±15 V operation, they are available in space-saving 32-lead, 5 mm × 5 mm LFCSP packages and 28-lead TSSOP packages. Both are specified from –40°C to +125°C operation.
