Full Feature HDMI 1.3 Transmitter with Integrated CEC
The ADV7510 is a 225 MHz HDMI transmitter perfect for home entertainment products including DVD players/recorders, digital set-top boxes, A/V receivers, gaming consoles, and PCs. The digital video interface incorporates HDMI 1.3 features, such as 12-bit Deep Color at 1080p, x.v.Color™ space, high bit rate audio, digital theater sound (DTS), and programmable AVI InfoFrames features. It supports all HDTV formats, and it is backward-compatible with DVI 1.0.
By including HDCP, the ADV7510 allows the secure transmission of protected content as specified by the HDCP 1.3 protocol. To deliver to audio requirements, the ADV7510 supports both S/PDIF and 8-channel I2S audio. Its high fidelity 8-channel I2S can transmit 7.1 surround sound audio up to 768 kHz. The S/PDIF can carry compressed audio including Dolby Digital, DTS, and THX. ADI offers data sheets, samples, evaluation kits, software driver reference codes, IBIS models, applications notes, and HDMI compliance pretest services to support the ADV7510.

14-Bit Image Signal Processor Enables High Definition Consumer and Industrial Imaging
As high definition imaging and video systems become more common in both the industrial and consumer markets, system designers are demanding components that offer a combination of attributes—high speed, high performance, low power, and a small footprint—previously considered trade-offs. Especially challenging has been achieving the high (74.25 MHz) sampling rate requirement for HD systems because, until recently, the maximum sampling for analog front ends available on the market has been 65 MHz. With the release of the AD9978A, a dual-channel, 14-bit HD imaging signal processor with a maximum sampling rate of 75 MSPS, imaging designers can utilize a device that incorporates all critical attributes at a sampling rate greater than 74.25 MHz. The AD9978A is packaged in 6 mm × 6 mm, 32-lead LFCSP and is specified over an operating temperature range of –25°C to +85°C.
