ADIS16260 и ADIS16265 – это программируемые цифровые гироскопы, которые совмещают в одном компактном корпусе датчик, выполненный по передовой технологии МЭМС, и схемы обработки сигнала. Они обеспечивают уровень погрешности, для достижения которого при использовании любых других гироскопов МЭМС данного класса потребовалась бы полная калибровка в процессе движения. При подаче питания ADIS16260 и ADIS16265 автоматически производят процедуру запуска и начинают оцифровку показаний датчика без подачи каких-либо команд конфигурирования от системного процессора. Адресуемая структура внутренних регистров и типовой последовательный периферийный интерфейс (serial peripheral interface, SPI) упрощают доступ к показаниям датчика и конфигурационным настройкам. Аппаратная поддержка интерфейса SPI реализована во многих цифровых процессорных платформах.

ADIS16260 и ADIS16265 имеют несколько программируемых функциональных возможностей для внутрисистемной оптимизации. Возможность переключения ширины полосы датчика (50 Гц и 330 Гц), управление длиной КИХ фильтра с окном Бартлетта и частотой дискретизации позволяют пользователю достичь компромисса между уровнем шума и шириной полосы. Цифровые линии ввода/вывода включают в себя сигнал готовности данных, который помогает главному процессору контролировать процесс считывания данных, сигнал индикатора тревоги, который может быть использован для посылки прерываний в главный процессор, а также линии ввода/вывода общего назначения для настройки и контроля различных системных параметров/условий.

ADIS16260 и ADIS16265 представляют собой прямую замену компонентов семейства ADIS1625x и выпускаются в корпусе LGA (габариты 11.2 мм × 11.2 мм × 5.5 мм), который удовлетворяет требованиям стандарта JEDEC J-STD-020 к профилям бессвинцовой пайки методом оплавления припоя. Компоненты работают в расширенном температурном диапазоне от −40°C до +105°C.

ADIS16260/PCBZ Circuit Diagram

The ADIS16260/PCBZ is a "breakout boad that provides (1) ADIS16260BCCZ and (1) interface PCB to simplify the process of "prototyping" during the early stages of system design and evaluation. The ADIS16260BCCZis a fully-calibrated, digital MEMS gyroscope, which provides a serial peripheral interface (SPI) for all digital communications. It is in a 20-lead, LGA package that minimizes board space but does not support typical prototype soldering processes. The interface PCB provides access to the ADIS16260BCCZ, using dual-row, 12-pin connectors, which supports standard ribbon cable systems and hand-soldering connection techniques.

The ADISUSB system provides a simple, PC-based tool, for evaluating iSensor products, for those who are not ready to integrate them into embedded processor systems. This system supports application software that enable basic demonstration, individual register access and data capture for each supported device. Each application software package comes with an installation wizard, which facilitates simple installation and also includes a simple USB-driver package that is easy to use. All software packages associated with the ADISUSB are compatible with the 32-bit versions of Windows XP, Vista and 7. The ADISUSB circuit board is 0.125” thick, which enables pre-drilled, pre-tapped mounting holes for each iSensor device. The mounting holes accommodate M2x0.4mm machine screws. The integrated power system eliminates the need for external power supplies in most cases, but does provide for an external power supply input, for supply-sensitivity testing. The power system uses the USB’s +5V and provides a linear regulator option for +3.3V devices.

The EVAL-ADIS circuit board is 0.125” thick, which enables pre-drilled, pre-tapped mounting holes for each iSensor device. The mounting holes accommodate M2x0.4mm machine screws. This kit also includes 5 sets of M2x0.4 machines screws, which provide for the various package thickness and eliminate the need to procure additional hardware. The integrated power system eliminates the need for external power supplies in most cases, but does provide for an external power supply input, for supply-sensitivity testing. The power system uses the USB’s +5V and provides a linear regulator option for +3.3V devices.
