The ADIS16364 iSensor® is a complete inertial system that includes a tri-axis gyroscope and tri-axis accelerometer. Each sensor in the ADIS16364 combines industry-leading iMEMS® technology with signal conditioning that optimizes dynamic performance. The factory calibration characterizes each sensor for sensitivity, bias, alignment, and linear acceleration (gyro bias). As a result, each sensor has its own dynamic compensation formulas that provide accurate sensor measurements over a temperature range of −20°C to +70°C.

The ADIS16364 provides a simple, cost-effective method for integrating accurate, multi-axis, inertial sensing into industrial systems, especially when compared with the complexity and investment associated with discrete designs. All necessary motion testing and calibration are part of the production process at the factory, greatly reducing system integration time. Tight orthogonal alignment simplifies inertial frame alignment in navigation systems. An improved SPI interface and register structure provide faster data collection and configuration control. By using a compatible pinout and the same package as the ADIS1635x family, systems that currently use the ADIS1635x family can upgrade their performance with minor firmware adjustments in their processor designs.

This compact module is approximately 23 mm × 23 mm × 23 mm and provides a flexible connector interface, which enables multiple mounting orientation options.

The ADIS16364/PCBZ is a "breakout board," which provides (1)ADIS16364BMLZ and (1) interface PCB to simplify the process of "prototyping" during the early stages of system design and evaluation. The ADIS16364BMLZ is a fully-calibrated, MEMS IMU, which provides a serial peripheral interface (SPI) for all digital communications. It provides a dual-row, 24-pin connector interface that minimizes board space but does not support standard ribbon cable connections. The interface PCB provides access to the ADIS16364BMLZ, using dual-row, 12-pin connectors, which supports standard ribbon cable systems and hand-soldering connection techniques.

The ADIS16IMU1/PCBZ is a breakout board for many of the ADIS16xxx IMU and gyroscope products. It provides a series of tapped M2x0.4mm machine screw holes to support direct-mounting with several different package styles, along with a 16-pin, dual-row, 2mm connect interface that supports simple connection with remote processor boards, using up to 12 inches of a 1mm ribbon cable. The ADIS16IMU1/PCBZ serves as a partial replacement for several obsoleted evaluation tool. Please see the following list.
