The FireCracker Development and Reference Design Platform for Audio/Video and Communications Applications enables design engineers to bring embedded computing solutions from concept to production in record time.

FireCracker is a unique concept of a Hybrid between a Development Board and a Reference Design. The Kit contains a FireCracker Evaluation board based on the Analog Devices Blackfin processor family. It is available with either an ADSP-BF527 or ADSP-BF537 Module. For evaluation purposes, evaluation software is pre-flashed at the Core Module. Different demonstration applications can be chosen. Reprogramming of software updates either for the Core Module or the FPGA is possible. A binary of the evaluation software is included in the FireCracker Kit.
