AD7147... CapTouch™ Programmable Controller for Single Electrode Capacitance Sensors
The AD7147 is a programmable capacitance-to-digital converter (CDC) for handheld consumer electronics that enables the design of contemporary touch controls that are paper-thin, yet highly reliable. The low power device has the capability to automatically adjust to rapidly changing climatic conditions, making it ideal for mobile environments. The configurable AD7147 features 13 capacitance inputs and femto farad resolution, allowing mobile electronics designers to implement a touch pad, scroll wheel, slider, or up to 36 buttons per device, making it easier to browse through large files of music, pictures and video. The AD7147 provides highly accurate measurement and responsiveness, and features the addition of an active shield feature for improved noise performance.
AD7150... Ultra Low Power, 2-Channel, Capacitance Converter for Proximity Sensing
The AD7150 is an ultra low power device specifically designed for highly sensitive proximity sensing applications. It provides a complete signal processing solution for proximity sensors offering important features such as electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), adaptive environmental calibration, small package, low power consumption and fast response time. The AD7150 consumes just 90µA, resulting in a 70% power saving relative to existing optical sensor solutions. This makes the AD7150 ideal for use in portable and battery-powered products in automotive, industrial and even consumer applications, such as entry and security systems, remote detection and contact-less switches.
