Introduction
The AD7356/AD7352 are dual, 12-bit, high speed, low power, successive approximation ADCs that operate from a single 2.5 V power supply and feature throughput rates up to 5/3 MSPS. The parts contain two ADCs, each preceded by a low noise, wide bandwidth track-and-hold circuit that can handle input frequencies in excess of 200 MHz.
The evaluation tools for the AD7356/AD7352 incorporate:
- EVAL-AD7356EDZ/EVAL-AD7352EDZ
- EVAL-CED1Z Converter Evaluation and Development board
The combination of the EVAL-AD7356EDZ/ EVAL-AD7352EDZ board, software (available in both Labview source and executable formats) coupled with EVAL-CED1Z allows the user to fully evaluate the AD7356BRUZ/ AD7352BRUZ. This analysis includes, AC (FFT) and DC (linearity, waveform and histogram plots) analysis. See below for the relevant documentation for the system including technical notes and software downloads.

Software
EVAL-AD7356EDZ/ EVAL-AD7352EDZ software is available to the user in both Labview source code and in an executable version. The software download also includes source FPGA code used in the EVAL-AD7356EDZ/EVAL-AD7352EDZ system and an example C source file showing how to interface to the EVAL-AD7356EDZ/EVAL-AD7352EDZ evaluation system.
To download the evaluation software package, select the link below, save the zip file to the PC and then run the install.
