AD9865 and AD9866 Evaluation Kit
This evaluation board kit supports the AD9865 and AD9866 MxFE™ broadband family. Since these MxFEs are highly integrated and software configurable, it is recommended that users familiarize themselves with the operation and performance capabilities of these devices using an evaluation board kit. The evaluation kit consists of a PCB, software and documentation to facilitate its test bench analysis. Besides allowing independent testing of the AD9865/66 Tx and Rx signal paths, the PCB also supports a complete analog front-end (AFE) reference design for power-line modems. The digital interface for the PCB is highly flexible supporting half- or full-duplex interfaces to test equipment or DSP, FPGA, or ASIC development boards.

Software
The software included with the AD9865 and AD9866 evaluation kit provides a convenient graphical user interface allowing for easy access to the various SPI port configuration registers. Upon proper configuration of the AD9865/AD9866, the user can then evaluate the Tx and Rx signal path's performance and optimize the settings of various registers for a given application.
