EVAL-ADF70XX:  Development Platform for ADF702X family of ISM band Transceivers

Product Description

This development platform provides the hardware and software to both evaluate and develop a low power, low data rate, wireless network using any of the ADF702X ISM band transceivers with the ADIismLink proprietary protocol. The kit provides the ADIismLink communication protocol intended for use in the license-free ISM bands and adheres to the regulations specified by ETSI (433MHz & 868MHz) and the frequency hopping requirements of FCC 15.247 (902-928MHz).

The platform allows straightforward yet comprehensive configuration of the PHY and MAC layers of the ADIismLink protocol using the provided application software. This allows the user to investigate the trade-offs in protocol performance and also modify the protocol to suit their application. A restricted set of the ADIismLink source code is also provided allowing a developer to build their own application specific network.

The kit provides several demonstration networks, like a remote temperature sensor network, which allows the user to get a working wireless system up and running very quickly.
