10 MHz to 3 GHz VGA with 60dB Gain Control Range
The ADL5330 is a broadband voltage variable gain amplifier specified for operation from 10MHz to 3GHz. The device provides precise linear-in-dB gain control over 60dB range with approximately -40dB attenuation and +20dB gain. A 0 to 1.4V gain control input voltage is required to set the gain or attenuation over the 60db range.
The ADL5330 provides a high linearity output power making the device an ideal solution for wireless infrastructure transmit signal paths.
The ADL5330 is supplied in 24-lead LFCSP, and fully specified over –40 to 85°C temperature range.
This product has been released to the market. The data sheet contains all final specifications and operating conditions. For new designs, ADI recommends utilization of these products.
ADL5330-EVALZ is a fully populated, 4-layer, FR4-based evaluation board designed to allow easy evaluation of all features of the ADL5330 analog controlled VGA. The evaluation board contains bypassable transformers to allow single ended or differential inputs and outputs. An SMA connector is used to access the analog gain control pin. This evaluation board requires only a single supply within the range of 4.5V to 5.5V.
