The ADR43x series is a family of XFET voltage references featuring low noise, high accuracy, and low temperature drift performance. Using Analog Devices, Inc., patented temperature drift curvature correction and XFET (eXtra implanted junction FET) technology, voltage change vs. temperature nonlinearity in the ADR43x is minimized.

The XFET references operate at lower current (800 µA) and supply headroom (2 V) than buried Zener references. Buried Zener references require more than 5 V headroom for operations. The ADR43x XFET references are the only low noise solutions for 5 V systems.

The ADR43x family has the capability to source up to 30 mA of output current and sink up to 20 mA. It also comes with a trim terminal to adjust the output voltage over a 0.5% range without compromising performance.

The ADR43x is available in 8-lead MSOP and narrow SOIC packages. All versions are specified over the extended industrial temperature range of −40°C to +125°C.

Use ADR435 as a product reference devices, at room temperature 5 V can basically meet the low noise voltage reference, temperature coefficient, line regulation, load regulation, long-term stability, calculated to meet our testing requirements. The output terminal to ground the best selection of bypass capacitors film capacitors, tested chips affected by ambient temperature higher than room temperature, is currently testing stage.

I hadn't any problems with this voltage reference using a 24-bits ADC. Even without a large capacitor this reference has a low output noise. I choose this device mainly because its initial accuracy, i didn't had to calibrate it.

Precise voltage reference ADR435
This device provided a very stable reference for my ADC with internal gain used to measure a low voltages in range of 1 to 10mV. B grade device has a very low temperature coefficient that allow me to use it without any temperature control. Additionally high current sinking is also a good feature for a voltage reference.

voltage reference for ADC
the voltage reference was used in a PCB together with ADCs AD7685 and the AD5522. I just used the application note of the AD5522 to build a pin measurement board to measure power supply inputs of ASICs and characterize their input IV curve to avoid damage to a test board in case of shortages or other anomalies in the ASIC. The app note worked as expected and the voltage reference is simple to use and does its job :-)
