They are ideally suited for use in analog-to-digital conversion, long-term integration, linear frequency modulation and demodulation, and frequency-to-voltage conversion. ADI’s latest family of VFCs, the AD774x series, is based on Σ-Δ technology and provides high linearity in tiny packages at low cost.
