The AD8610 (single) and AD8620 (dual) are very high precision JFET input amplifiers featuring ultralow offset voltage and drift, very low input voltage and current noise, very low input bias current, and wide bandwidth. Unlike many JFET amplifiers, the AD8610 input bias current is low over the entire operating temperature range. The AD8610 is stable with capacitive loads of over 1000 pF in noninverting unity gain; much larger capacitive loads can be driven easily at higher noise gains. The AD8610 swings to within 1.2 V of the supplies even with a 1 k Ω load, maximizing dynamic range even with limited supply voltages. Outputs slew at 50 V/µs in either inverting or noninverting gain configurations, and settle to 0.01% accuracy in less than 600 ns. Combined with the high input impedance, great precision, and very high output drive, theAD8610 is an ideal amplifier for driving high performance A/D inputs and buffering D/A converter outputs.

Applications for the AD8610 and AD8620 include electronic instruments; ATE amplification, buffering, and integrator circuits; CAT/MRI/Ultrasound medical instrumentation; instrumentation quality photodiode amplification; fast precision filters (including PLL filters); and high quality audio.

The AD8610 is fully specified over the extended industrial (-40ºC to +125ºC temperature range. The AD8610 is available in the narrow 8-lead SOIC and the tiny MSOP8 surface-mount packages. The AD8620 is available in the narrow 8-lead SOIC package. MSOP8 packaged devices are available only in tape and reel.

excellent pulse processing
We are using the AD8620 in an analog pulse processing chain in a charged particle spectroscopy measurement device. The processed pulses are several µs long, gaussian shape. We appreciate the nice performance in a wide dynamic range of 3 decades. The noise figures are fine, as the overall main noise source is the detector itself.

the positive and negative transitions are clean
the bandwidth of my work is from Hz-kHz. compare to other op-amp, ad8620 enhances the high-frequency performance (kHz-kHz). the positive and negative transitions are clean, there is less noise and distortion in large dynamic.

Great op amp for noisy environment
In addition to its excellent performance, this op amp has high PSRR as well, making it suitable for use in a noisy environment. Thus, this op amp is ideal for use in a computer sound card.

DAC convertor
high quality DAC convertor from USB to S/PDIF. Circuit has analog output for headphones and digital S/PDIF output with electrical and optical(TOSLINK) interface. We can use too 3 HID buttons for setting volume and mute. For USB input is used standard miniUSB connector. Headphone output uses standard 3.5" stereo jack socket. For signal conversion from TTL level to differential signal is used RS-485 bus transceiver. For optical output is used optical transmitter

controlling the operation
design for controlling the operation of the amplifier and display on the LCD matrix module used microcontrollers belonging to the family firm . Also possible to control the amplifier from a computer via the USB port. Due to this, compared with conventional amplifiers, the apparatus has become easier and more reliable in operation.

Good opAmp
Clear and dynamic sound, very bright independent of loading and very detail of sound. This ic if used in the amplification pattern, it can do much better. Signal distortion. But high price for production.

Audio Input Stage
We use this OpAmp to drive a Headphone Amplifier. Combimnation of very low Power-Consumption, Low Noise and other Features couln't be found too often. This is our 1st choice.

Works like a charm :)
perfect product, we would not know any improvements besides DIP versions, but that is probably not feasible/usable for the bigger industrial/commercial sector. But for biologists who happen to be good with electronics, soldering SMD or SOIC stuff is not that fun to do.

Ad8620 is one of the best opamp that I could try in an audio circuit, extremely sharp and with the right tonal balance
this is perfect for audio application, but the price is high for normal production.

Very detail sound, more musical than AD827, no too much feature compare to other ADI OP Amp
The AD8620 has no feature compare to other ADI OP Amp such as AD843, AD797, AD827 although it is bright, detailed and smooth.
