EZ-KIT Lite™ for ADSP-2199x Processor Family

Product Description

The ADSP-21992 EZ-KIT Lite™ provides developers with a cost-effective method for initial evaluation of the ADSP-2199x Processor family. The ADSP-21992 EZ-KIT Lite evaluation board is designed to be used in conjunction with VisualDSP++ as a complete code development and debug system and is based on the ADSP-21992 mixed-signal digital signal processor (DSP). This product is shipped with a limited version of the VisualDSP++ environment; additional development tools must be purchased separately. Using the EZ-KIT Lite with the debugger, you can observe the ADSP-21992, execute programs from on chip RAM and off chip Flash, interact with on-board devices, interface to a CAN bus, and communicate with other peripherals located on optional user designed add-on modules via a expansion connector.

The EZ-KIT Lite includes a monitor program that is downloaded at configuration time over the USB port. The monitor program lets the board communicate over the USB Interface to a PC. This monitor program lets you download, execute and debug ADSP-21992 programs. You can also connect a JTAG emulator to the EZ-KIT Lite. Through the emulator, you can load programs, start and stop program execution, observe and alter registers and memory, and perform other debugging operations. Additionally, the EZ-KIT Lite provides user installed expansion connectors that lets you examine processor signals, as well as provide an interface for host control.

VisualDSP++ Manuals do not come with the EZ-KIT Lite's. You may download individual manuals or order a complete set.
