Norwood, MA (07/05/2006) - Analog Devices, Inc. (NYSE: ADI) today announced the availability of VisualDSP++® Release 4.5, the newest release of its integrated software development and debugging environment (IDDE) for Blackfin®, SHARC®, and TigerSHARC® Processors.

Easy to use and easy to install, VisualDSP++ consists of an integrated development environment, debugger, C/C++ compiler, assembler, linker, and simulator. New features in Release 4.5 include a scriptable flash memory programmer and caching project dependencies to improve build times.
