New name Analog Devices (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. better reflects company’s business scope & dynamic expansion in Greater China & Asia Pacific

Shanghai, China (08/28/2007) - Analog Devices, Inc. (NYSE: ADI), a global leader in high-performance semiconductors for signal processing applications, today announced the new company name for its regional headquarters in Shanghai, Analog Devices (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. [亚德诺半导体技术(上海)有限公司].

This announcement demonstrates the company’s long-term commitment to the Greater China and Asia Pacific market and strengthens the company’s image as a semiconductor company with innovative products in analog semiconductor components, including analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog converter technology and high-performance amplifier technology where ADI leads the industry. In addition, the new name reflects the company’s commitment to leverage other signal processing technologies to help our customers design innovative systems products. These technologies include digital signal processing (DSP), Radio Frequency (RF) and Micro-electronic Mechanical Systems (MEMS).

Mr. Howard Cheng, who remains as Vice President for the company’s Greater China operations, will continue to be responsible for the headquarters in Shanghai, the Beijing and Shenzhen branch offices, the sales office in Taipei, the supporting office in Hong Kong, as well as ADI’s design and applications engineering centers in Beijing and Shanghai.

“Our regional headquarters were established in Shanghai in June 2005. Since then, we have been successfully delivering high performance signal processing solutions to a broad spectrum of customer applications in the Greater China region, focusing on markets such as advanced TV, wireless infrastructure, handsets, automotive, portable media, factory automation, and scientific and medical instrumentation.”
