Norwood, MA (02/07/2012) - Analog Devices, Inc. (ADI), a world leader in semiconductors for high-performance signal processing applications, will broadcast "Fundamentals of Laying Out PC Boards" webcast on February 8, 2012 at 12:00 pm EST. This webcast will cover the ins and outs of PCB design and layout in a practical and straight forward approach. The presentation is packed with tips, tricks and techniques that can be implemented into your next design to help improve overall circuit and system performance.
This webcast is a "must see" for those new to PCB design and students, especially for those concerned with high-speed circuitry. It will also be a good refresher to those experienced in layout.
John Ardizzoni is currently a product manager for high speed amplifiers located in Wilmington, MA. John started at Analog Devices in 2002, as an application engineer in ADI's high speed amplifier group. Prior to joining ADI, John worked for IBM, in RFIC applications and at M/A-COM for 20 years. John has over 30 years experience in the electronics industry, and has authored numerous articles and design ideas. More recently, John is the co-author of Analog Devices Rarely Asked Questions (RAQ's) column.
Throughout 2012, Analog Devices is presenting the "Fundamentals of Designing with Semiconductors For Signal Processing Applications," a monthly webcast series that guides participants through each stage of the basic signal chain, from amplifiers to data converters - those components that convert the analog electronic signal into a digital stream - then to the heart of many modern circuits, the digital processor, and then back to the analog domain. The series also covers what is needed to power today's circuits, how to make them portable, how to lay them out, as well as provide an introduction to design tools, tips and techniques that help solve design challenges quickly. Each webcast is followed by a Q&A with a technical expert. To learn more about ADI's online training resources for a variety of design needs, visit http://www.analog.com/pr/webcasts
