Product Details

Dolby Intelligent Mixer is a sub component of the Dolby Car Audio system. The Dolby Car Audio system is aimed at automotive listening experience which takes into consideration the positions and directionality of the listener with regards to the available speaker sets. The Dolby Intelligent mixer is aimed at intelligent down-mixing of the two source input channels without losing any significant information due to cross-correlation happening during normal down-mix.

Performance Metrics

MIPS summary:

SHARC Processor Family Code RAM (KiB) Data RAM (KiB) Constant Data Tables (KiB) MIPS
Average Average Peak
ADSP-2136x 17.2 43.1 13.3 20.5 20.5
ADSP-2134x 12.5 43.1 13.3 20.8 20.8

  • MIPS measured using Fs = 48 kHz, optimal memory layout, worst case test vector.
  • "Data RAM" for one instance, includes Stack, Scratch, Instance/State, minimum input and output single buffers
  • Input buffer size is 2 KiB and output buffer size is 1 KiB
  • Frame size is 256 samples per channel
  • 1 KiB = 1024 bytes
